Jerrett Brown’s (JB) love of sports began at an early age. Born and raised in Hopewell, VA, the four sport athlete began soccer and baseball at the earliest ages allowed followed by wrestling and football as high school years approached. Success would soon follow in the form of district, regional and eventually a state championship for Hopewell. While playing for the Blue Devils, All-District, All-Region honors were achieved in baseball and football ranking as a Top 50 recruit in the state by Virginia Preps and Rivals in both sports, while also earning a district championship as a wrestler along the way. In 2003, Brown was selected as the ALL-Metro Player of the Year, as well as being the first player to receive an All-State Utility Player honor in football having been nominated for offense, defense, and special teams. Brown would later earn an athletic scholarship for football to The College of William and Mary, and would later go on to play professional Arena football for the Richmond Raiders.
